What you will need:
- A soft metric tailoring or sewing tape measure
- Something with which to jot down your measurements (in centimetres)
- A full-length mirror and/or a friend (to make sure the tape measure is straight for a more accurate reading)
What to wear:
- Any and/or all foundation garments planned for use on the wedding day, or similar
1 Waist – To measure your waist, wrap the measuring tape around the slimmest part of your waistline.
2 Bust – For measuring your chest, place the tape at the fullest part of your bust, making sure the tape is straight across your back. We recommend turning to one side and looking in the mirror to make sure the tape measure is straight and taught (but not constricting) across your back.
3 Hips – Then, measure the fullest part of your hip area. Again, placing yourself sideways in the mirror to aid finding the right place to measure and to make sure the tape measure is straight and taught (but not constricting).
**Keep in mind, you will receive samples to try on, with another opportunity to fine-tune the fit of the garments. However, if further guidance is necessary, please get in touch with us to schedule a video chat**
